Why So Many People Can't Make Decisions
Read and decide what type of person you are - black and white or shades of gray type thinker.
There is also a little quiz on the right sidebar to help you pathetic people who couldn't make a decision to save yourself. Wait, wut.
TL;DR...actually i read 2/3rds. my comments are: 1. they should have defined the word ambivalence; i had to go look it up because i had always thought it meant not caring one way or the other (closer to apathetic) 2. while they are defining it for readers, they should check out some synonyms for the word...they said the same word so often i had a hard time concentrating
ReplyDelete3. there is no longer (or i didnt see) a quiz on the side
4. i dont think you can label someone as one or the other types of decision makers...it entirely depends on the subjecct as to which type i am - which is prob true for everyone
in conclusion, this article was pointless
LOL, Ally i totally agree with 1 and 2. And there is a quiz, you probably didn't look hard enough to find it :) Anyway, i would say i am TOTALLY a grey-thinker because i do this about evvvvvvvery purchase "Others can spend hours in the sock aisle at the department store, weighing the pros and cons of buying a pair of wool argyles instead of cotton striped." However, when i went to take the quiz it was about my relationship and work. Both of which i don't have any grey thoughts about, so for those i guess i'm black-and-white. But for the little insignificant things like which flavor of Cheerios is the healthiest? Yeah i'll spend 30 minutes studying the boxes to figure that out (and i did).
