It seems that Lucas has enjoyed that I will let him feed himself from time to time and likes to throw a temper-tantrum if I try to feed him. When I let Lucas feed himself though there is a decontamination that is required afterward and I'm not always in the mood to basically use 50k worth of wipes and clean him.
I've won this round of the food standoff as his hunger won out over his stubbornness. So, no clean-up for me and a full stomach for Lucas. It is a win-win, finally.
